How to Add or Remove a Screen Recording Button on the iPhone 7 Control Center

posted on April 24, 2019

With iOS 11, Apple introduced a feature that people had been waiting for a long time. You now had the ability to record what was happening on your screen as a video file that would be saved to your Photos app. That video could then be shared or uploaded to sites like YouTube.

Perhaps the easiest way to accomplish this screen recording is via a button on the Control Center. The Control Center on your iPhone is the menu that is accessible when you swipe up from the bottom of the screen. This menu has a number of different options, such as the orientation lock, but is also has a customizable area at the bottom. Our guide below will show you how to add the screen recording button to the Control Center, or how to remove it if it’s already there and you don’t want it.
